Our Mission Statement
The purpose of the
Lake Lure Shag Club, Inc.
is to preserve, encourage
and promote shag dancing
and to strive to perpetuate
the dance, music and culture
that make up the shag.
The Lake Lure Shag Club, Inc. is a member
of the Association of Carolina Shag Clubs.
