| A Sports Festival For All Ages & Abilities |

The Rumbling Bald Resort located along the northern shore of Lake Lure will be the location for the Olympiad Shag Dance and Competition on August 28. The photos below show the location.
This year we will feature an Adult competition (21 years and older), as well as a Junior competition (up to 20 years old). There will also be many other events taking place, so be sure to come early and stay late. You will not want to miss any of the excitement.

| The beach will be bustling with activity. Come early to enjoy the barbecue dinner prepared by the Bat Cave Fire Department. |

The 2009 Olympiad Shag Dance Competition will be done differently this year. We would like to feature one couple from each shag club. So, shag clubs, send us your very best dancers! It will be shag club against shag club for the Adults.
Juniors do not have to represent a particular shag club.
Registration will be limited to ten couples for Adults and five couples for Junior I, and five couples for Junior II. So get your registration forms in early. Deadline to enter is August 25. Walk-ups will be accepted on day of dance if there are openings. If you have questions, please contact us at www.lakelureshagclubinc.com.

Some events will overlap, but everything is
